Private Beta · For Invited Testers Only

Build and launch a
subscription wellness brand
in under an hour.

FunnelStudio is a white-label B2B platform for launching subscription wellness programmes — smoking cessation, anxiety management, weight loss, and more. This guide walks you through what to test, how to test it, and what to expect during this early beta.

All transactions are in test mode — no real money moves
Data visible in Studio is sandbox/demo data
Some features are still in development
Before you start: You'll need Studio login credentials (ask Roland), and your test brand should already have a Stripe test connector configured. All payments you make during testing use Stripe test cards — no real money is involved.

The Quick Build wizard

Quick Build is the main value proposition of FunnelStudio. It generates a complete, ready-to-launch wellness funnel — quiz, checkout, upsells, member programme, email sequences, and AI coaching — from a short brief. What normally takes weeks of copywriting and configuration takes about 10 minutes.

How to run a Quick Build

1
Open your brand and write the brief
Log in at studio.rolandb31.com. Go to Brands in the sidebar, then click your brand to open its settings. Fill in the Brand Brief — a short description of the niche, target audience, and tone. You can use the ✶ Chat with AI button to build this interactively. Save the brand when done.
2
Click ⚡ Quick Build on the brand card
Go back to the Brands overview page. Your brand card now shows a teal ⚡ Quick Build button. If it shows “Brief needed” instead, fill in the brand brief first (step 1). Click the button to open the Quick Build wizard.
3
Configure and generate
The wizard pre-fills from your brand brief. Review the settings — consumer type, programme length, plan pricing — then click Generate. Generation takes 30–90 seconds as the AI builds the quiz, programme content, email sequences, and AI coach persona in one pass.
4
Review in the Funnel Editor
When complete, go to Funnels in the sidebar and click your new funnel. The Funnel Editor shows the quiz, checkout page, and upsell — you can edit any section before going live.
5
Publish and test your funnel URL
Once happy, click Publish. Your funnel is live at yourbrand.rolandb31.com/f/funnel-name. Open it in a new tab to run the full subscriber journey end-to-end.

Testing a checkout with Stripe

All test payments go through Stripe in test mode. No real money changes hands. Use the card numbers below — Stripe will process them as if they were real transactions, including 3DS authentication flows.

💡
Sandbox mode in Studio: After completing a test checkout, open Studio and make sure Sandbox view is active (button at the bottom of the left sidebar). All your test subscribers and payments appear in sandbox mode — switching to Live shows real data only.

What to test in the checkout flow

1
Complete the quiz
Go through all quiz steps — try different answers to confirm the quiz segments correctly and reaches the checkout page.
2
Enter your details and pay
Use the 4242 card for a clean approval first. Then repeat with the 3DS card to verify the authentication popup appears and completes correctly.
3
Accept or decline the upsell
After checkout you'll see the upsell offer. Test both accepting and declining — confirm the correct outcome in both cases before reaching the member app.
4
Check Studio immediately after
Open Analytics (sandbox mode). You should see the new subscriber in the list and the payment in the transaction drill-down. The subscriber also appears in the Subscribers page.

The member app

After a successful checkout, the subscriber lands directly in the member app. This is the day-by-day programme experience they'll use throughout their subscription. The same URL works on mobile and desktop.

What to explore

📆
Daily programme
Each day has a lesson, exercise, audio session, and journal prompt. Complete a day and confirm the streak counter increments.
🆘
SOS button
A crisis-moment tool that appears when members need immediate support. Should respond quickly and feel calming.
🧬
Twin (Alex)
A visualisation companion that shows the health benefits accumulating over time. Check the data updates after completing days.
🤖
AI Coach
The branded AI coach persona. Try asking programme-specific questions and off-topic ones to test the boundaries.
🏅
Badges and progress
Badges earned at milestones. Check that completing day 1, then 7, then 21 trigger the right badge unlocks.
🎵
Music store
Relaxation audio packs available as upsell purchases inside the app. Test the purchase flow from within the member area.

Cancellation flow

Go to Account / Settings inside the member app and trigger a cancellation. You should see a save offer (a free month). Test both accepting and rejecting it — then check the subscriber's status in Studio.

Understanding the Analytics page

Studio's Analytics page shows all key metrics for your brands. In sandbox mode you'll see your test data. Each KPI card is clickable — it opens a detailed drill-down panel on the right without leaving the page.

MetricWhat it meansExpected in testing
Revenue (period) Approved payment volume in the selected date range Your test transactions total
CIT Approval Rate Customer-initiated (checkout) first-attempt approval % 100% with 4242 card
MIT Approval Rate Merchant-initiated (rebill) first-attempt approval % N/A until rebills run
Retry Recovered Subscribers recovered after a declined payment, via auto-retry Test with a declined card
Upsell Attach Rate % of new subscribers who took an upsell offer Reflects your upsell test choices
Avg LTV Average total revenue per subscriber (approved payments only) Matches your test payments

The sandbox / live toggle

The button at the bottom of the sidebar switches between Sandbox view (all test data) and Live view (real subscribers and payments only). In Live view during testing you should see €0 revenue and 0 subscribers — that confirms the sandbox isolation is working correctly.

Known limitations

This is a private beta. Some things are deliberately not finished yet. Here's an honest status of what's in-progress:

In progress
Stripe connector setup — Full Stripe test connector validation (including 3DS) is being completed this week. Until confirmed, use the existing Yuno test flow for basic checkout tests.
In progress
PayPal connector — PayPal integration is on the near-term roadmap. Not available in this beta.
In progress
Twin (Alex) — Day 1 display — The Twin companion shows incorrect damage state on day 1. This is a known visual bug being fixed before launch.
In progress
Welcome email link — The "open the app" link in the welcome email currently goes to the brand's marketing page rather than directly into the member app.
Planned
Multi-currency checkout — The platform supports multiple currencies per brand, but full FX logic and per-region pricing is a deliberate later milestone.
Planned
Dispute management — Chargeback and dispute handling is built in a reference implementation and will be ported into the platform.
Working
Quiz flow, checkout, upsell, member app — All core subscriber flows are functional and testable end-to-end in sandbox mode.
Working
Analytics, subscriber management, email sequences — Studio management features are operational including drill-down analytics and subscriber actions.
Working
AI coach, SOS, badges, audio, music store — All member app features are live and testable.

Giving feedback

The most useful feedback during this beta is specific: what you tried, what you expected, and what actually happened. Screenshots help a lot.

Most valuable things to test

A
Run a complete Quick Build and go live with it
Does the generated content feel on-brand? Is anything obviously wrong or missing? How long did it actually take?
B
Go through the full subscriber journey yourself
Quiz → checkout → upsell → member app → complete a day → try the AI coach → trigger the cancellation flow. Note anything that feels broken or confusing.
C
Try a declined payment and watch the retry
Use the 9995 card at checkout. Check that the retry system fires and that it shows correctly in Analytics → Retry Recovered drill-down.
D
Check Analytics drill-downs with your real test data
Click each KPI card in Analytics and check that the numbers in the overlay match what you did. Flag anything that looks inconsistent.
